A Priority on Volunteerism

When you really want to clean your home, you have to roll up your sleeves. We know the same holds true when you want to have an impact on your community.

That's why SC Johnson puts a priority on volunteerism all around the world. From renovating a preschool in South Africa, to planting trees in Mexico, to the company-wide Volunteer Day in France (pictured), SC Johnson organizes volunteer events for our employees all over the world.

Plus, we give incentives to get out and do good. For example, a U.S. program offers a $250 grant to any not-for-profit organization where an SC Johnson employee or retiree volunteers 40 hours in a year. Those who volunteer for more than one organization can apply for grants for each one they support. An organization can receive up to $2,500 per year through this program.

In the United States alone last year, SC Johnson employees contributed more than 8,500 hours of volunteer time through the company's Volunteer Connections program.
